A User Experience Design Course Unlike Any Other

Lambda School's UX design major goes deep.

You'll learn how to use industry standard tools like Sketch, as well as the entire UX design process. Finally, you'll learn the basics of building real user experiences for the web or mobile.

At Lambda School, we won't only teach you to design user experiences, but also how to build them.

  • WEEKS 1 - 5

UX Principles and the Responsive Web - Discovery, Definition, Ideation, and Design Principles

  • WEEKS 6 - 10

Advanced UX Design Concepts and Mobile Considerations - Advanced Discovery, Definition, Ideation, UX Leadership, and Design Systems

  • WEEKS 11 - 15

Web Development Fundamentals - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • WEEKS 16 - 20

Lambda Labs - Participate in our In-House Apprenticeship by building a real world project in a small team

  • WEEKS 21 - 25

Advanced UX Design in Practice - Google Sprints and Small Group Projects

  • WEEKS 26 - 30

Lambda Labs - Participate in our In-House Apprenticeship by building a real world project in a small team (Or optional Mobile Development Fundamentals - iOS (Swift, Networking, Core Data) or Android (MVVM Architecture, Networking, Data Storage))

World-class Instructors

Lambda School instructors are dedicated, full-time, expert engineers who literally wrote the books and curricula used all over the world by thousands of schools and professors.

Nick Basile

You don't pay anything unless you get a great job.

You'll only begin paying tuition after you have a job that pays over $50k per year and utilizes the skills you learned at Lambda School.

If you can't get a high-paying job using the skills you've gained, you'll never pay a dime.

Full-stack, Hands-on

Lambda students learn full-stack development with some of the most in-demand technologies. By the end of the Lambda School course, students will have built and worked on multiple apps.

Student Stories

Joram Clervius

Joram had never made more than $15/hour before joining Lambda School. After Lambda School he was hired directly into a role as a Senior Engineer at Nexient.

Julian Pegues

Before joining Lambda School, Julian worked in a warehouse moving boxes. After Lambda School, he landed a job working as a React Native Engineer at Uber.

Lambda School is pioneering a new model of higher education in which the school invests in the students, instead of the other way around. Attending Lambda School can be completely free up-front (no deposit, no down-payment), and students pay back a portion of their income after they find a high-paying job.

If, for some reason, a student is unable to find a job with a salary above $50k per year, they are not required to pay anything.
