Backend Program Opportunity Scholarship
The Lambda School Backend Program Opportunity Scholarship was created to make careers in tech more financially accessible for aspiring women, Black, Latinx, and Native American software engineers. Lambda School is providing $250,000 in scholarships to advance equitable pathways to technical careers.
This scholarship is applicable to the Enterprise Backend Development program only and cannot be applied to any other Lambda School program. You can see the full terms and conditions here.
About the Scholarship
Lambda School was founded on the belief that while potential is evenly distributed across society, opportunity is not. Since we started in 2017, our mission has been to close the gap between potential and opportunity by removing barriers that stand in the way of a better education, a better career, and a higher income.

Women and Black, Latinx, and Native American individuals are historically underrepresented in the tech industry, and in software engineering in particular.

This scholarship program is another way for Lambda School to invest in diverse future tech talent to meet the demands of a rapidly growing industry.

We hope that the Backend Program Opportunity Scholarship makes it more financially feasible for underrepresented groups with leadership potential and technical aptitude to access new career opportunities, and to make the tech industry a more inclusive and equitable place to work.
